Flight time
The flight from Auckland to Germany takes roughly 25 hours with a stopover. It's a long flight but you'll forget all about it when you arrive in this fascinating destination full of history and charm.
In Germany, old-world charm meets modern culture in the best kind of way – offering something for every kind of traveller.
Historic medieval towns feel like they’ve stepped out of a fairytale, but at the same time you can dive into Berlin’s edgy art scene, hit a stylish urban bar, or embrace tradition with a stein of beer and a plate of bratwurst at a local biergarten.
Iconic castles like Neuschwanstein will stop you in your tracks, and the romantic beauty of the Black Forest is made for getting lost – think misty trails winding through storybook villages and lush, forested valleys.
Love the outdoors? Hike the Bavarian Alps or cycle along the Rhine, refuelling on warm pretzels, schnitzel, world-famous sausages and the kind of bread that dreams are made of.
Germany also knows how to throw a party. From Cologne’s Carnival to Munich’s Oktoberfest and the twinkling magic of its Christmas markets – there’s a celebration waiting in every season.

Germany is 10-12 hours behind New Zealand depending on Daylight Saving. At times it's exactly the same time - just AM at one end and PM at the other!
I've always loved travelling because the world is filled with such incredible beauty, diversity and unforgettable experiences. My roots are in Switzerland, but my own travel story truly began with a life-changing trip to New Zealand - so it feels especially meaningful that I now get to call this amazing country home. Last year, I moved to New Zealand to be with my Kiwi partner, and I’ve loved discovering more of this beautiful corner of the world ever since.
To date, I’ve explored 56 countries across six continents, with only Antarctica left on my bucket list. I’m a curious, adventurous and active traveller who enjoys connecting with different cultures, uncovering history and soaking up the atmosphere of vibrant cities. From exploring Europe’s great capitals and finding hidden treasures on a scenic road trip to experiencing wildlife, landscapes and nature up close, I’m always excited about what’s next.
I’ve spent around 16 years working in the travel industry in a range of roles, but being a travel consultant is where I truly feel at home. It combines everything I enjoy most: travel, organisation, careful planning and above all, helping people bring their dream holidays to life. I’m passionate about creating personalised travel experiences that reflect each client’s interests, style and needs because every trip should feel unique.
Whether you’re dreaming of iconic European cities like London, Paris, Rome or Vienna, cruising the oceans or rivers of the world, relaxing on a tropical beach in Fiji or Rarotonga, road-tripping through Ireland, heading out on safari in South Africa, Namibia or Kenya or standing in awe at Angkor Wat in Cambodia - I’m here to help you plan it all.
Let’s create an unforgettable journey together.

Having been with House of Travel for 13 years I really enjoy how even after all this time every day is different. I can still find new destinations to learn about and expand on my knowledge through travel I have booked. Hearing about how my client’s travels went and what they experienced is always a highlight!
I encourage clients to keep in touch throughout their trip as I love receiving a photo now and then to see where their adventures are taking them. To me it's not just a holiday or a travel experience we are booking, it's memories we are helping create that will last you a lifetime.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain.

I have always been a lover of travel, family holidays as a child sparked my love of seeing the world. I was born in England, moving to New Zealand with my family at the age of six. Drawn to the outdoors and the natural beauty of the world, I enjoy nothing more than exploring new landscapes, immersing myself in local living or being a major tourist. Whether that’s wondering narrow streets, exploring a big city or lounging on a sun-soaked beach.
In addition to my knowledge of travel, I'm currently training to become a Contiki champ with a passion for adventure and a love of meeting new people, I am eager to help you plan your own exciting Contiki, Top Deck, G-adventures or Intrepid tour and create unforgettable memories.
I was fortunate enough to be sent to Disneyland California and loved every aspect of its adrenaline packed adventure. It is an unforgettable trip and I cant wait to help others book their magical Disney holidays.
With a passion for adventure and a keen eye for detail, I’m always on the lookout for hidden gems, unique experiences and trending destinations. Whether you're looking for a thrill-seeking adventure or a peaceful escape into nature, I have the drive to help you plan the trip of a lifetime.
Travel really is my passion and I perhaps love organising it just as much as the actual travelling. Being able to open up options for people they had no idea they could accomplish is truly exciting. I love the scope of what we can accomplish as a travel agent; our systems, knowledge and relationships with the right people all add up to being able to organise a truly memorable trip. I’ve done it all from tours, safaris, ocean and river cruises, adventure travel, self-drives, rail journeys, family travel specialising in all things Disney and I love to share my knowledge to help you achieve the trip of your lifetime.
Outside of the office I like to spend my time skiing, horse riding, tramping, scuba diving, getting outside on our lifestyle block with my two little girls or enjoying a glass of pinot with a side order of chocolate mousse.
